erin A native of Westbrook, Maine, she joined the Core Solutions team in May of 2008. While completing her National Academy of Sports Medicine certification as a personal trainer, Erin leads boot camp and spinning classes. Erin has completed course work toward a degree in Physical Fitness & Nutrition and Business Administration at the University of Southern Maine and Southern Maine Community College. Erin's expertise is in educating clients in nutrition while providing cutting edge workouts developed to motivate the beginner, intermediate or experienced client. She believes in teaching people to make fitness apart of everyday life while avoiding crash diets, burn out or overtraining. Her clients and students would describe Erin as being motivational, happy, positive and realistic. 'Working out should be something a person looks forward to. I want my clients to set realistic goals they can obtain while leading a balanced, happy and healthy lifestyle. I try to give my clients something new every time we meet, as well as day-to-day fitness and nutrition goals.' Erin is an avid runner and biker, and participates in numerous bike races, 5K, 10K, and running relays with friends, family and clients. She completed the 60-mile Tour de Cure bike race in Bar Harbor, Maine in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Erin's personal goals for the next year include finishing her first 100 mile century ride this fall, and successfully climbing all 67 four thousand foot peaks in New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine by spring 2009. |
